As an Operations Supervisor at Jewson Civils you can expect a varied, challenging and fast paced role where you will be joining a business that is focused on building excellent customer oriented teams with a strong focus on health & safety in every branch.As an Operations Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in building a positive culture / environment in a key branch operational role where you can showcase your flair for leadership, logistics and site operations within a reputable global business.

The Operations Supervisor will provide support for the Site Operations Manager and to take responsibility for the site in their absence. To support with the site health & safety, stock, logistics, order fulfilment and business procedures. To drive operationalexcellence to achieve continuous improvement in standards of customer service, ensuring stock vitality and delivery of materials are made at the most effective cost to serve. To supervise the operations team motivating, coaching and developing the team tomaintain the safe, and efficient storage and movement of materials.

**Here's a short breakdown of the key focus areas in this role**
- Build a proactive health, safety and environment culture to ensure that both staff and customers are free from accidents and that all parties actively endorse a safe and healthy working environment.
- Maintain the correct product range for the site, PPI completion, ordering stock to ensure continuity of supply for customers and support to achieve excellent stock vitality.
- Maintain the warehouse and yard layout which is operationally time efficient, safe and product is stored in a manner so that it is not damaged.
- Support Site Operations Manager to ensure adherence, monitoring and audit process of the ISO 14001/ISO9001 and any other certification required for the site

Although we do require someone with proven experience within a large scale distribution, logistic site operations in a supervision or team leadership role, a positive attitude and a commitment to your learning and development are most important.
