**Chilled Warehouse Supervisor**:
**Tewkesbury**
**Permanent, Full Time, 45 hours per week**
**Five days per week**
**Salary of £36,000 per annum**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Supervisor at the busy Tewkesbury Distribution site. An excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking to take the next steps in their career

Our Supervisors play an extremely important role in motivating the company’s teams and ensuring their success. Some of their duties include communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines with designated teams. They are responsible for motivating team members, assessing their performance and evaluation and deputising for the Chilled Warehouse Manager.

A working knowledge of Health & Safety safe practice, and the ability to understand and impliment the company’s Health & Safety Policy are essential to this role

The role requires you to be a strong communicator with the ability to foster and maintain excellent working relationships; a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail with great communication skills. You will be working with all levels of the business, and a desire to provide excellent customer service is essential

Key duties will include:

- Lead and guide a large team responsible for the receipt, picking and returns of dairy and associated products
- Supervising, motivating and training of Chilled Warehouse and Yard employees, to ensure skills are utilised effectively
- Ensure the cleanliness of the Chilled Warehouse is maintained at all times providing a safe working environment
- Supervise the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, overseeing day to day operations
- Support and monitor team performance, encouraging them to do their job to the best of their ability
- Ensure all Company procedures are being adhered to including safe working practices and manual handling
- Provide support for the Chilled Warehouse Manager, covering days off and holidays
- _Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area_
