**Senior Early Help Practitioner - Southwark**
**Family Help & Support Team**
**Rate: up to £30.76 per hour**

We are recruiting for motivated worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
- This is a qualified social worker role requiring you to be SWE registered and to have relevant experience.
- This is a co-lated Team based in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) undertaking work with families who are identified for an early help service. This involves substantial contact with families, to explore their needs and circumstances with care and sensitivity to ensure they access the support they need to address issues or difficulties as early as possible.
- As a senior family early help practitioner you will responsible for progressing requests from MASH within a 10 day timescale, undertake MASH checks on behalf of early help and carryout immediate help visits where this might be required prior to transfer to an early help team. You will need excellent IT and report writing skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- You will benefit from individual, supervision including an opportunity for reflective group supervision with out in house CAMHS service. You will need to be available Monday to Friday 9-5 pm and work in the office for the majority of the week to support collaboration with MASH colleagues and partners. A great opportunity to work with families to support prevention and early support in a supportive team.
- The Family Help and Support Team works in partnership and collaboration as part of the MASH to ensure that children, young people, families receive an effective service response at the first point of contact taking into account the valuable contribution of family help in supporting the objectives of high quality social work practice and the importance of a shared approach to the overarching strategic aims of Children First, Family Minded and Keeping Families Strong core principles.
