**Temporary Loss Prevention Security Officer**

**What are we looking for?**
- Be visible, approachable and friendly to all customers in our stores
- Identifying any risk to associates and customers, resolving potential issues using customer service & conflict resolution techniques
- Attending daily store briefs, building an awareness of brands in store and how best to protect our product
- Assisting customers at the entrance / exits of our stores
- Previous customer service, security, or retail Loss Prevention background ideal but not essential as we will provide training on the job. You must however have an interest in customer service and a passion for Loss Prevention
- Personable, approachable, great communication and face to face customer service skills
- Calm and professional with a high level of integrity
- Comfortable to face potential conflict situations and be able to de-escalate effectively
- Good judgement and independent decision-making capability

As a Loss Prevention Officer, the protection of people and profit is fundamental. You will be focused on deterring loss on the salesfloor and act as an ambassador for the loss prevention function in a customer facing role. You will also be able to remain calm and professional under pressure.

You will be self-driven and resilient, with a natural ability to communicate. Acting with integrity and working in partnership with the Loss prevention team and store management to implement Loss Prevention policies and processes.

Experience of being in a customer facing role, gained within a fast pace retail environment is ideal but not essential. It would also be desirable to understand the role of the Loss Prevention function within the business but again not essential. The role will require you to professionally handle external theft situations and we will support you this by providing the necessary technical training.

Working as a **Loss Prevention Officer**, you'll help to deliver our goal of keeping our customers, associates and assets safe. Experience of being in a customer facing role, within a fast-paced retail environment or security guard role is ideal but not essential.

**In this role**:

- You will be supporting a positive customer experience within our stores by being a visible, friendly, approachable presence at our entrance doors.
- You will be focused on deterring loss on the salesfloor whilst acting as an ambassador for the loss prevention function.
- You will work closely with the store team to maintain security of our product and together you will aim to deliver effective conflict resolution when required.
- You will need to demonstrate your ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- You will also be self-motivated, resilient and driven to make a difference with a natural ability to communicate.
