Purity Global Ltd are key suppliers to UK retailers at major multiple, discounter and wholesale levels as well as enjoying a growing export and on-line sales business.
Specialising in the household category we have been successfully supplying own label and branded products to major UK retailers since 2008.
Following significant growth, Purity are looking to appoint a National Account Executive who will work in conjunction with and support the National Account Managers to deliver our 5-year plan that will see further, significant growth from new and existing accounts.
**The Role - National Account Executive (Grocery Household Goods)**
Supporting the National Account Managers (NAMs), you will be primarily involved in identifying and executing promotional activities in the retailers we supply for the brands we own to create maximum brand impact and incremental sales.
Securing regular promotions across a range of key retail accounts including Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Waitrose and Home Bargains to name a few, you will be responsible for achieving incremental sales through selected promotional activities within stores. This may include additional shelf space, creative POS, price promotion and above the line activity.
You will analyse sales data and market insight in all categories across our customer portfolio to identify areas of opportunity. It will be your responsibility to recommend promotional activity for each respective retailer and provide the rationale behind your recommendations. This will lead to discussions and proposals being agreed with the retail buyers. Familiarity with such promotions as EDLP, WIGIG, BOGOF, Loyalty Schemes as well as Seasonal Offers would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience in the FMCG industry preferably in an Account Executive role or similar
- Proven track record of building exceptional relationships with customers
- Possess very good Excel skills enabling you to interrogate large amounts of sales data and present your findings, trends and opportunities in simple to understand ways
- An understanding of the dynamics of the Account Manager/Buyer relationship
- Be resilient, confident and a highly motivated self-starter and team player
- Be able to build strategically sound, financially robust proposals that optimise opportunities
- Have an analytical mind coupled with the ability to think creatively in a commercial environment in finding new opportunities and commercial solutions
- Be highly numerate and commercially astute
- Have a tenacious and entrepreneurial approach encompassing integrity and respect at all times
- Demonstrate being able to work within a fast-paced environment
**Essentials;**
- Experience in the FMCG industry
- Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Influencer with drive and ambition
- Team player and excellent communicator
- Full Driving license
**Desired;**
- FMCG National Account Executive or Account Management experience
- Branded and OL account management experience
- Within 1 hour commute to the office in Hull
