**Job Title: Assistant Technical Coordinator**

**Location: Liverpool (L7 7DP)**

**THE ROLE**

As an Assistant Technical Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the technical coordination team, assisting in the smooth implementation of technical aspects across construction projects in the North West. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction coordination, regulatory compliance, good construction methods and quality assurance. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to the success of our projects while developing your skills and expertise in the construction industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Assistance**: Assist the technical coordination team in coordinating construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
- **Documentation Management**: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence. Organise and archive documents for easy retrieval and reference.
- **Design Support**: Support the review and management of design drawings, specifications, and documentation. Assist in communicating design changes and updates to relevant stakeholders and ensuring their implementation.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Assist in researching and staying updated with the relevant building regulations and industry standards. Support efforts to ensure that construction activities comply with relevant regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- **Quality Control**: Support the implementation of quality control procedures to monitor and evaluate construction work for compliance with specified requirements and standards. Assist in conducting inspections and addressing any quality issues identified.
- **Technical Assistance**: Provide technical support to project teams, subcontractors as needed. Assist in resolving technical issues and challenges to ensure the smooth progress of construction projects.
- **Communication**: Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Assist in documenting and disseminating project updates, technical issues, and resolutions.
- **Administrative Support**: Provide general administrative support to the technical coordination team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project-related records.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Degree or diploma or working towards in construction management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in a construction-related role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Familiarity with construction documentation and drawing management.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop skills in the construction industry.

**SALARY RANGE**

Competitive dependent on experience.

**WORKING HOURS**

Full time permanent.

40 hours per week
