Support the European Risk & Compliance team in all aspects of implementing and maintaining an effective Risk & Compliance Management program and support the business to ensure compliance with legal obligations and effective management of other operational risks.

**What you will do**
- Support compliance monitoring or other assurance activities.
- Review, modify, update company policies.
- Support the implementation of Group and local policies.
- Provide advice to the business on compliance matters.
- Support the team in the execution of risk management activities.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate strategic, operational or project risk assessments.
- Contribute to the annual compliance risk assessment.
- Support the business in maintaining an adequate control environment.
- Support the business in identifying root-causes and action plans to address breaches and incidents.
- Support the business in designing action plans to address risks, incidents or identified control deficiencies and monitor completion of action plans.
- Support the production of regular Risk & Compliance reports within the reporting deadlines agreed.
- Assist in any ad-hoc tasks / projects / reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with senior business management, providing guidance, oversight, and challenge.
- Adhere to regulatory obligations.
- Ensure that all confidential information is handled in accordance with company protocols and procedures.
- Ensure all contact and interaction is of the highest standard (written/phone/face to face).
- Communicate clearly and appropriately to all stakeholders.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Adhere and comply to all company policies.
- Proficient use of systems.
- Is collaborative in approach with strong emphasis on delivery and execution.
- Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exhibits a positive 'can do' attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.

**What you bring**
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Compliance role within financial services is essential, preferably with a general insurance provider.
- Good familiarity with relevant local regulation of financial intermediaries.
- Knowledge of key compliance and regulatory topics.
- Proven track record of working on own initiative and delivering practical outcomes to a professional standard.
- Solid project management skills with a strong emphasis on prioritisation, communication and delivery.
- Demonstrable experience of interaction and influencing at a management level.
- Experience in managing different stakeholders across first and second lines of defence.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Collaborative in approach with strong emphasis on delivery and execution.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities; create new and better ways for the organisation to be successful
- Help others to continuously improve and achieve results.
- Explore multiple solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Anticipate future needs that may affect the team or organisation.
