**Exciting Opportunity: School Premises Officer Position Available in Secondary School in Barking**

**Position: School Premises Officer**

**Location: Barking**

**Contract: Permanent**

**Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:30 - 18:30**

**Salary: £27,855 to £29,139**

**About Us**:
Our secondary school in Barking is committed to providing a nurturing and conducive learning environment for our students. We are seeking a motivated and skilled School Premises Officer to help us maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality throughout the school.

**Responsibilities**:
As a School Premises Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the school premises, including:
Conducting routine maintenance and repairs.

Overseeing security procedures, including monitoring access control.

Managing cleaning schedules and coordinating with cleaning staff.

Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Opening and closing the premises as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Previous experience in a caretaking or similar role is preferred.

Basic maintenance and DIY skills.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
