We are a small online accountancy practice and require an experienced bookkeeper to assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks as well as handle all incoming queries. We require someone who is confident and able to handle client queries with very little guidance.

You will be required to work 25 hours per week (5 hrs per day and be available client queries during office hours of 9am to 3pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break).

The role is remote but must you must be based within 5 miles of Greater London area as there can be occasional visits required to client premises.

Key requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in bookkeeping and accounts
- AAT part qualified or equivalent
- Must be fluent in English and a very clear communicator
- Experience of Quicbooks and Xero is a must

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day entering bills/receipts/bank data on accounting system
- Bank reconciliation
- Preparing accounts to TB level for accounts sign-off
- VAT Returns on Quickbooks & Xero
- CIS Returns
- Payroll & auto-enrolment
- Managing supplier statement reconciliation for some clients
- Dealing with day-to-day client queries
- Bookkeeping support to the Financial Accountant in preparing self-assessment returns.

**Salary**: £15,000.00 per year
