As a Barclays Records Business Partner, you will cover all areas of Records Management and be accountable for mitigating information risk throughout the entire records management lifecycle. This is an opportunity for you to achieve this by defining and assessing controls to ensure that Barclays meets its legal and regulatory records retention obligations. Your other accountabilities will include the operational tasks, functions, and remediation of BAU that gets implemented supporting data retention governance.

**What will you be doing?**
- Leading the records management, working with over 200 worldwide technology teams to improve their controls and control environment for records management
- Planning and supporting project stakeholders through the various project management lifecycles and change management gates that Barclays employ
- Liaising between records owners and system owners to understand and interpret their relevant records
- Assisting with the submission of metrics/incident reporting and input to the monthly Business Unit
- Data Management Councils
- Demonstrating information technology expertise and familiarity with the issues and principles of electronic records management and preservation
- Advocating the importance of records management compliance at all levels within the organization
**What we’re looking for**:
- Financial services background within investment bank and/or Management Consultancy as part of a project team who has assisted in all steps of the project management lifecycle
- Business analysis with proven experience in development and writing of project specifications
- Implementation of business process improvements
- Experience in the utilisation of electronic document/records management systems or evaluating electronic records management products and systems
**Skills that will help you in the role**:
- Ability to work independently as well as a team, maintaining effective working relationships with senior stakeholders
- Understanding of the life cycle of a record
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven experience of continuous improvement on process, service, or systems
**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
