Cobham, United Kingdom dnata Full time

At Travelbag, we make travel a piece of cake. Our knowledgeable experts live and breathe holidays, so they’re always on hand with tips and advice, to help our customers discover somewhere new. Whether they want a relaxing week away or a month-long adventure, we’ve got it covered. We’re owned by dnata Travel, part of the Emirates Group.

We’re super excited to be opening a brand-new store on the High Street in Cobham and we’re looking for experienced Travel Specialists to join our new team.

To be considered, you need to have experience of selling long haul destinations and tailor-made holidays. You need to have exceptional customer service skills, be driven by your passion for travel and motivated to meet and exceed your targets. GDS experience would also be an advantage.

Our Travel Specialists work 37.5 hours per week 5 days over 7 and in peak periods we can be open 9am to 9pm to meet our customer demands.

When you join Travelbag, you’ll have an initial 3-week interactive training period with our inhouse training team. You’ll then join our ‘academy’ with dedicated support alongside support and coaching from your manager.

You will have lots of opportunities to enhance your product and destination knowledge - including weekly product training from our destination team and supplier hosted events where you can meet others in the industry as well as learn about a product or destination - and there are usually prizes up for grabs

We have some fantastic benefits, making us a great place to work:

- Uncapped commission scheme.
- Fam Trips - you will visit a key Travelbag location in your first year.
- Incentives - to win anything from coffee & pastries to a TV or Air fryer, or a fam trip or holiday.
- Travel discounts - we have a dedicated Staff Travel Team to help you plan your next adventure.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days after 5 full years of service (+ bank holidays).
- Additional annual leave purchase scheme - so you can pursue your love of travel.
- Company pension scheme.
- Life assurance.
- Low-cost health care for you and your family.
- Employee Assistance programme.
- Ongoing development - we have an in-house People Development Team.
- Industry/social events - including supplier events.
- Annual conference where we bring the whole Travelbag Team together.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Long service awards.
- Volunteer days - one day’s paid leave each year to volunteer with a registered charity.
- dnata4good - supporting the local communities we work, live and thrive in.
- Refer a friend scheme.
- Free eye care tests.
- Free Taste Card membership
- offering discounts on dining out, movies, attractions, takeaways and online shopping. Free tea and coffee in all our shops
