**Job description**

**Role requirements**

Butterwick Hospice Care require a Maintenance person to work as a member of the Maintenance Team.

The person will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of all Butterwick Hospice Care premises and grounds.

The role will include: manual handing, working at heights and working within confined spaces.

You will be expected to work to operational, technical and health and safety standards.

You will be required to use a variety of maintenance and diagnostic equipment to fulfil the requirements of the role.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records within our existing job planning and management systems.

A current valid driving licence is required to enable the post holder to carry out the duties of the post across all sites.

**Knowledge and Experience**

Essential
- Ability to prioritise work appropriately and within deadlines whilst maintaining high standards and quality of work, using own initiates and recognise additional duties as appropriate

Essential - Experience within at least one of the following: Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, Painting & Decorating etc.

Desirable
- Knowledge and experience in healthcare estates environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.68 per hour
