Working with a well known multi-national services and software solutions business based in Staines upon Thames (hybrid, 3 days in office) to recruit a Deputy Director of Accounting. This role will have responsibility for the financial reporting across theUK&I and South African entities. This is a great opportunity to join an ever evolving business in a role that the company has specifically ear marked for future development. As the job title suggests you will be supporting and deputising for the AccountingDirector as well as taking the lead in various improvement projects.
This is a Senior Financial Accounting role that will require an understanding of multiple international entities, matrix structures and multiple statutory & SOX impacts. In addition, the role will require ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.

**Responsibilities**:

- To support the migration, transfer and integration of accounting processes in a newly-acquired subsidiary
- Responsible for accounting of Corporation tax, Share Based payments, Pensions, Leases, Money Movements and trust accounting
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations to a high level with strong support and reasoning
- Prepare and submit audit information to a professional standard
- Lead UK GAAP/IFRS trial balance and financial statements for all UK managed entities
- Responsible for all Group monthly, quarterly and yearly submissions returns.
- Corporation tax and Group reporting for the specific entities
- Understand and work with the differences between US GAAP and UK GAAP/IFRS
- Take on key projects such as business cases, ERP/system upgrades, technical memos, detailed analysis and operational reviews
- Build close working relationships with the rest of the UK Finance team as well as auditors
- Work across the organisation's matrix structure, providing support to those that need it and obtaining information when it is required
- Strive for continuous process improvements.
**Profile**:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience of an international corporate structure and matrix organisation would be an advantage
- Audit & Technical accounting under UKGAAP/IFRS experience is must
- Subject matter expert for accounting standards and statutory accounting
- Microsoft Office essential (Advanced Excel, Basic Word and PowerPoint)
- Comfortable with large amounts of data
- ERP Oracle and Hyperion Planning experience preferred

**Salary**:
£65,000 - £75,000 + bonus + benefits
