Intercoat Paints Ltd are leading Manufacturers and Innovators, specialising in the supply of decorative and protective Industrial Finishes for wood, metal, glass and plastics.

Primary duties:

- Communicating stock and supplier issues to the Purchasing Manager and supporting in the resolution thereof
- Maintaining supply chain KPIs.
- Reviewing monthly stock volumes and supporting the Warehouse with stock control
- Support future developments of the company's purchasing system
- Calculating and communicating product costs
- Assist with resolving any queries associated with company expenditure
- Attending daily Production Meetings
- Purchase Invoice processing
- Request quotations from the company's established preferred supplier list
- Other administrative duties in order to assist in the performance of the Purchasing office function

You will have:

- Computer literacy and general IT skills
- Strong knowledge of the supply chain function
- Previous experience in Purchasing role (at least 1 year)
- Hard-working and highly motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Numerical and financial acumen
- Good telephone manner
- GCSE or equivalent (Minimum, Preferred)

Work location: In person

The role is a full time post working Monday to Friday (37.5hrs), 23 days holiday per year and full training support.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
