**The Role**:
In this role, you will support the Sales and be a brand ambassador of Kao Salon division brands (Goldwell and KMS) via Education activities and Events.
- You will improve hairdresser skills and knowledge, via meaningful, and inspirational seminars.
- Help build the sale of Kao Salon products by engaging and connecting with Salon staff and owners to build and maintain loyalty.
- The Educators are a vital link to salons, communicating at the same level, with real hairdressing, expert color and retail experience.
- Work with stakeholder to gain, maintain and increase distribution through education, whilst increasing brand awareness resulting in uptake of Kao Salon Division Product Portfolio, increase % distribution in allocated account base and open new doors aligned to annual set targets.
- Partner with salon owner and team members to build loyalty and trust.

**What You Will Do**:

- Demonstrate and train Kao Salon Division products and services to potential and existing accounts in your region. Be positive Brand Ambassador, presenting yourself and the brand exceptionally at all times. Work alongside designated Stakeholders to implement education plans for your account base to achieve objectives and targets set. You should be prepared to stay away from home on average 2 nights per week if required.
- Regular reporting to your line manager to review, opportunities and results, making changes to the strategy where required. Report using the appropriate documentation as outlined by your line manager. Facilitate the organisation of in salon training plans, events and seminars in order to provide excellent education support that lead to an increase in distribution of Kao Salon Division Portfolio in line with annual targets. Update and complete Connect Self Service as required.
- Demonstrate leadership in all Kao Salon Division activities and Kao Core Values in all communications and tasks. To include administration tasks and updating relevant stakeholders as required, be punctual to all seminars, meetings or events. Be available to work trade events, evening and weekends with reasonable notice given.
- Use and promote Kao Salon Division, services and tools only at all times. Ensure all demo product and tools are in pristine condition, fully stocked. You are the primary contact for all education matters for your region and base accounts.
- Collaborate with all Stakeholders to support targets and common goals aligned in Connect. Attend and confidently present product information at Regional & National meetings to ensure all colleagues have relevant information.
- Be involved when required with strategic development of UK & Global education though workshops, projects and events

**What You Need**:

- NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing
- Must have current commercial salon experience
- Proven industry experience in all aspects of hairdressing including retail, and have experience in team leading and basic management.
- Minimum of 5 years working in salon.
- Excellent working and technical knowledge of colourants, treatments and haircare products.
- Have an understanding of the different personalities, salon cultures, long work days and how to prioritise work load.
- Creative problem solver and self motivated.
- Have experience of how a salon runs, how best to organise and run training sessions that inform, motivate and maximise the use of Kao Salon Division products in this environment.
- How to plan and run training sessions that inform, motivate and maximise the use of Kao Salon Division products.
- Able to organise working days to ensure maximum number of locations are visited and be able to plan contingencies often at last minute.
- Able to communicate effectively to influence clients to choose Kao Salon Division products every time.
- Have basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and behaviours in line with the Kao Leadership Values.
