With Destinology, our customers receive their own personal travel consultant, who will ensure that no detail is overlooked - however small - right from their initial enquiry, all the way through to them returning home.

**Role **Purpose**

The Marketing Designer will play a crucial role in developing visually compelling marketing materials that enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience. This position requires a blend of creative and technical skills to produce high-quality graphics for a variety of platforms, including digital, print, social media, and web.

**Responsibilities**Collaborate with the marketing team**: C**onceptualise and design impactful marketing materials to be used across the entire Marketing mix.
**P**rint brochures**: Develop monthly print brochures to be sent to our database, continually developing new ideas to make the layout appealing and interesting.
**P**rint ads**:Design ad hoc print ads for newspapers and magazines to brief.

**E**vent collateral**: Design ad hoc event materials, including flyers, pull up banners and branded merchandise.
**HTML5 display banners**:Create HTML5 display banners in line with Googles Display Network guidelines.
-**Brand Alignment**: Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and convey a consistent brand image.

**Copy **Integration**: Work with copywriters to integrate text and visual elements seamlessly.

**Design assets library**: Develop and maintain a library of design assets, including icons, images, and templates.

**Trend Awareness**: Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure innovative and cutting-edge designs.

**Project management**: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

**Multimedia Content**: Assist in the creation and editing of multimedia content, such as videos and animations, as needed.

**External Co-ordination**: Coordinate with external partners when necessary to ensure the quality and timely delivery of marketing materials.

**Competitor Analysis**: Regularly monitor and analyse competitor websites, to ensure our branding and design elements remain distinctive.
**Measurement of Success**- Designs are delivered on time, to brief and of a high standard.- The Destinology brand is represented consistently across all Marketing collateral and the website.- New and interesting layouts and designs are explored and implemented.

**Skills and Experience**- Bachelors degree in graphic design, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing Design.- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, particularly in marketing contexts.- Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.- Ability to translate complex ideas into visually engaging graphics.- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.- Effective communication and teamwork skills.- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.- Experience with video editing and animation software is a plus.- UX and customer journey experience is a plus.
