Typing and general clerical support for the Sterile Services Department including filing, photocopying, handling of mail, answering the telephone, receiving visitors etc.

Preparation design and replenishment of all of the routine forms and documentation required by the department or the Sterile Services Management Team.

Input of all information relating to the goods and services provided in order to facilitate re-charge to the department. Provision of monthly information required as by the Finance Department relating to goods/services.

Systematic recording of all information relating to the personnel within the department as notified by the Sterile Services Team Leaders, Quality & Compliance and Production managers.

Liaison with all customers of the Department and all departments/organisations providing goods or services to the Sterile Services Department

Assistance in implementation and maintenance of all standards required by the ISO 13485 Quality System and Procedures.

Calculation and summarisation of routine management information relating to the department (i.e. staff sickness, absence levels, production figures - key performance indicators (KPIs) and other pertinent statistics as requested by the Decontamination).

Inputting of tray and instrument information etc. into the NEXUS computerised traceability system.

Completion of all housekeeping and maintenance duties required with the NEXUS traceability system in order to ensure it always achieves optimum performance.

Design of forms and spreadsheets etc. for both routine management information and also for compliance documents with the departments quality system.

Update and maintain CSSD Premises Assurance Model (PAM) information.

Providing support/relief cover for the other clerical staff managed by the CSSD Management Team.

Complete staff records and salaries and wages information on a weekly/monthly basis.

Compile/input any orders via the Oracle re-ordering system as requested by the manager, ready for authorisation and ensure completion of associated paperwork e.g. Single Action Tender form (SAT).
