Caer Rhun nestled in the stunning Conwy countryside will open with 32 stunning bedrooms, cosy and relaxing lounge bar, breakfast room and great event spaces.

We are seeking a highly-skilled **Head Housekeeper **to join our opening team.

Having worked within a 4 star country house hotel you will be aware of the need of paying attention to the fine details that ensure a memorable guest experience. The Head Housekeeper will be presentable and possess an ability to converse confidently with both colleagues and guests. You will have previous supervisory experience enabling you to motivate a team ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout both the bedrooms and public areas.

**Please note that this role is a hands-on role**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all bedrooms, lounge, event spaces and all public spaces
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping department
- Lead, develop, motivate and empower employees to deliver operational best practices, identifying opportunities and asking recommendations for improving efficiency and quality of service and operating standards
- Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of Guest Satisfaction
- Conduct training and offer direction to ensure quality standards & service levels are delivered consistently
- Establishes and maintains accurate inventory records. Participates in periodic linen and supplies inventories. Assures that equipment is properly maintained and meets health and safety requirements
- Conducts, captures and tracks daily room and public area inspections
- Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members
- Expert in Housekeeping and excellent knowledge of all departments internally.
- Takes action in all matters related to the health and safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of employees, hotel guests and property

**As our Head Housekeeper you'll have**:

- Solid experience as a Deputy or Head Housekeeper in a quality hotel
- Good financial awareness with a full understanding of controlling costs in particular linen supplies.
- Self-motivation and be able to motivate others to achieve through proven man-management skills, coaching and team building.
- Strong organisational skills and be able to implement, work with and monitor systems and procedures ensuring attention to detail at all times.
- Good understanding of all applicable health and safety legislation.

**Salary**: £24,500.00-£25,500.00 per year
