We have a vacancy at our Head Office in Deeside for a **Grounds/Handyperson**

We are ideally looking for someone who has previous experience of landscape gardening and building maintenance.

You will need to be able to work as part of a close-knit team and have good communication skills

**Purpose of Role**

To maintain the hard and soft landscaped areas at Head Office and Deeside Depot. To assist with general housekeeping of the sites including external cleaning and organisation of waste disposal. To undertake small works with regard to facilities/building services on site,

**Key Accountabilities,**

- To ensure that the required high standards are achieved.
- To take responsibility for maintain ning a neat and tidy, well-tended appearance throughout the seasons.
- To ensure that the operations do not affect the safety of other site users and members of the public.
- To provide assistance to other colleagues within the team when requested.
- Maintenance of gardening equipment to reduce breakdowns.
- Requirement to complete site maintenance and check sheets.
- To cover on call out in times of adverse weather.

**Qualifications / Knowledge**
- Experience of landscape gardening is essential.
- Knowledge of building services is required.
