The Role

**The Role**

We are seeking a detail-orientated & organised Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team. You will be responsible of assisting with the management of the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate record of payment and invoices are kept. We are seeking someone with previous AP experience & also has a minimum of AAT Level 2 qualification.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of the accounts payable function.
- Ensure that the purchasing policy is upheld.
- Raising company Purchase orders with suppliers.
- Attaching the correct delivery note to purchase orders.
- Assigning the correct invoices to system purchase orders
- Posting invoices and credit notes and ensuring they’re coded correctly in the system.
- Receipting the sock deliveries on Tidy
- Updating Fibre inventory spreadsheet.
- Open new supplier accounts as needed.
- Creating good relationships with suppliers.
- Communicating well with all departments within the business
- Act as the first contact for external Hauliers, Suppliers, and Service providers.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge and experience in in the Stock order and booking out of stock, raising of Sales orders and processing through the Tidy software system (training available)
- Experience of Xero and Sage 200 (training available)
- Good Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Ability to spot, investigate and resolve errors in stock count.
- Must have excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Team player who can develop strong working relationships within the team and wider company.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Educated to GCSE level English and Maths
- AAT qualified level 2
