**Job description**:
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Onshore HSE Advisor, based in Aberdeen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure regulatory requirements are identified, communicated and understood.
- Liaison between asset and HSE&A department.
- Coordination of HAZAN outcomes between Technical Authorities and offshore asset.
- Coordination, preparation and participation in the regulator inspection programme.
- Development of asset specific improvement campaigns.
- Actively promoting / engaging in procedural compliance reviews.
- Monitoring operational risk assessment status.
- Liaison with the asset in development of the annual HSE improvement plans.
- Regulatory reporting of incidents (ROGI, PON, OIR).
- Development / sharing of lessons learned.
- Liaison with co-venturers including preparation for periodic presentations.
- Regular offshore visits.
- Monitoring control of work auditing activity.
- Incident case management.
- Monitor HSEA performance and identify recurring trends.
- Active participation in development and delivery of the HSEA improvement plan.
- Support coordination of offshore field evaluation programme.
- Support Safety / Environment activity.
- Carry out or assist with incident investigations.
- Attend and contribute to relevant team, departmental and company meetings.
- Active development of improvement initiatives to support the business.
- Collaborate with the team and look for opportunities to develop, practical and effective solutions.
- Continuously develop ways of working by seeking feedback from colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Coach colleagues where appropriate and demonstrate a personal commitment to lifelong learning

Experience & Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent (risk, science, engineering)
- H&S Qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent)
- Member of IOSH (Chartered or working towards)
- Current Offshore Survival Certificate & Offshore Medical.
- Relevant experience working in the HSE field within the UK Oil & Gas industry,
- Previous experience required in an asset support role or in an offshore HSE role,
- Excellent working knowledge of UK offshore HSE legislation,
- Excellent communication, organisational and facilitation skills,
- IT literate - good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint software.
