An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join an established and reputable not for profit organisation near Lewes. This role is being recruited for on a fixed term contract and is highly likely to become a permanent position.
As the HR Advisor you will report into the HR Manager and will work as part of a proactive and responsive HR team, providing HR solutions, recommendations, and guidance on a range of HR generalist activities. You will deliver a professional service to circa200 employees, providing advice on employment policies, procedures and practices, compliance and employment legislation. You will take a lead on employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievances, absence reviews), support the recruitment process, and managethe onboarding of employees and the complete lifecycle. This is a fast paced and varied role where you will also be responsible for producing management reports on employee data, assisting the HR Manager and L&D specialist with creating training programmeson HR related topics and participate in various projects.
You will be given autonomy within the role and will have the opportunity to add value, raising the profile of the HR function.
If you have solid generalist experience, including employee relations, a good understanding of employment law and the ability to build strong working relationships this will be of great interest to my client. You will be self-motivated with a positive attitudeand have the ability to work under pressure to adhere to strict deadlines.
