Service Receptionist

Key responsibilities:
Meeting and greeting customers at the reception desk
Manage the service, repair, and MOT diary, arrange collection / delivery as an option, manage the courtesy car diary, manage the service experience, contact customers with update on timing, work needed and cost (in liaison with service manager / technician), completion time, collection of the money
Providing exceptional customer service
Checking for bookings through I Link system and gaining authority for work
Updating the customer data base and ensure GDPR is to standard
To help create good working relationship and a cohesive team with all colleagues
Follow up on customer satisfaction calls
In the case of any customer complaint, ensure it is dealt with timely and in line with company procedure
Help to ensure that the reception area and showroom and its facilities are in a clean and safe condition, and meets our standards
Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to at all times and the health and safety and well being of all colleagues, customers, and suppliers by operating to the health and safety procedures as detailed in the health and safety legislation
Attend all training courses as required to carry out the job role to the highest standard
Skills and behaviours:
Good communication skills (computer, written, and spoken)
Smart and professional appearance with sound people skills
Have sound organisational skills and good IT skills
Being able to clearly explain technical issues and upsell
Have a good business knowledge
Being able to work under pressure
Being creative and pro-active to capture a point of difference
Being able to build good internal and external relationships
Good timekeeping and can work a flexible working pattern
Work to and operate GDPR standards
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm
