You will be responsible in ensuring that the stores are organised and that the stock of parts is available for both planned and reactive maintenance activities, which will require liaising with suppliers and organising deliveries effectively to meet timeframes. You will also be responsible for health and safety administration requirements on site.

**Duties**:

- Ensuring that audited engineering / maintenance non-conformances are dealt with in a timely manner
- Ensuring that planned preventative maintenance is carried out and recorded accordingly
- Provide Engineering works list
- Stock Control of the Engineering stores
- Upkeep and organisation of the engineering stores
- Upkeep of the engineering technical documents
- Supplier / departmental liaison
- Management reporting of works carried out and in progress
- Record keeping of near misses and risk observations
- Keeping record of relevant health and safety training and booking relevant training courses for employees
- Any other duties that may be required by the business

**Essential**:

- Demonstrable abilities using Microsoft Office.
- Have worked in a mechanical / engineering environment previously.
- Team player
- Able to work on own initiative
- Organisation skills
- Strong communication skills - working with the Managing Director, General Manager and the Engineering department
- Willingness to learn

Starting salary: £26,000

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00am - 16:30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
