Youth Engagement Officer - JGW+

**Are you passionate about helping young people, making a difference, and creating positive life changing opportunities for young people?**

If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you We are looking to recruit a hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Youth Engagement Officer. With this opportunity you could create a positive impact and change in a young person life.

**Salary Banding**:£24,000 to £26,000

**Location**:Cardiff and surrounding area

**Contract type**:Full time, Permanent

**Working hours**:Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm

What are the core responsibilities of this role?
- Establish relationships with a variety of organisations such as other European social funded projects, schools, voluntary sector programmes and community-based facilities to attract new learners.
- Identify, engage and recruit new learners to Itec Jobs Growth Wales + programme
- Using a variety of sales, business development and marketing techniques to attract new learners
- Play an active part in the selling and endorsement of all Itec training products and services to attract new learners
- Arranging and attending promotional events to attract new learners and to raise the profile of the organisation as required

What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
- Experience of working with young people
- Strong relevant local networks
- Full driving licence with the use of own vehicle

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
