**SUMMARY OF ROLE**

The Business Support Executive provides a wide range of human resources functions. You will act as liaison between employees and management, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You will also assist in the creation of policies, processes and documents.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Ø Assist hiring manager with recruitment process

Ø Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (new starts, leavers, absences, amendments etc.)

Ø Maintain employee holiday records ensuring accuracy

Ø Manage employee absences, escalate action triggers & arrange medical reports/ occupational health referrals when appropriate

Ø Providing advice to management on employee relations and management issues

Ø Reviewing and updating job descriptions

Ø Reviewing employee performance and actioning issues where necessary

Ø Assist management throughout investigation/disciplinary/appeals process and procedure

Ø Provide HR data analytics and reports

Ø Maintain employee files ensuring all changes to terms and conditions are notified & updated on in house systems / personnel files

Ø Maintain, review & create company employment policies, procedures and strategies to improve efficiency and productivity

Ø Attend board meetings, take notes, prepare & communicate minutes

Ø General adhoc duties including monthly reports, regular reconciliations between systems, act as note taker, act as witness, filing etc.

Ø Be aware of company policies and procedures and enforce where appropriate

Ø Adhere to the escalations processes

Ø Ensure all data protection, health & safety and other legislative requirements are applied and enforced

Whilst this job description attempts to cover the main duties and responsibilities of the post it is not exhaustive. The post holder is therefore expected to undertake any other reasonable duties within their capabilities and the scope of the post as specified by their Line Manager. In such circumstances appropriate training will be provided.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
