Finance Business Partner

**Salary**: Up to £45,000

The Finance Business Partner is a member of the Finance team playing a key role in shaping the performance agenda and providing the business with choices around optimising profitability and helping it to understand the consequences of the decisions including impacts on customer and the risk environment.

A bit about the role:
You will play a key role in supporting the transformation program and the understanding of the consequences of decisions made. You will educate the business to ensure that they understand their key value drivers and how they are performing against them, and their financial management responsibilities.
- Manage the costs associated with major change programs.
- Identify ongoing risks and opportunities, ensuring business management is aware and appropriate actions are taken and delivered.
- Manage financial plans and cost management initiatives within an established framework.
- Use financial modelling & analysis to help drive business performance.
- Produce financial information for decision making.
- Own the business performance culture - where financial targets are embedded, monitored, and challenged throughout the business.
- Provide insight and challenge to teams to drive optimisation of performance.
- Lead on scenario and ‘what if’ analysis, consulting with all relevant stakeholders and using all available market intelligence. Communicate outputs and findings to senior management.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Change and business development experience.
- Good at planning, organising, and making things happen.
- Good at communicating complex issues in an easily understood manner.
- Degree/Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and encouraging other team members to do the same.

- Salary: Up to £45,000 (location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity of 10% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s)
