The post holder will be a motivated individual with experience of financial procedures who will plan, develop, and support the coordination of professional training and education and facilitate learning opportunities and continual support through supporting the effective management of educational contracts. S/he will support the co-ordination of the learning experience of healthcare professionals, engaging with both Clinical and Non Clinical areas across the Trust, They will work collaboratively across the Trust to ensure ongoing professional development and training of clinical & non clinical staff.

To support the learning and development of registered and unregistered Allied Health Professionals & nursing and midwifery staff across the Trust through timely and effective use of financial resources.

To work with the professional development team to develop and implement quality assurance and monitoring systems. Take responsibility for the maintaining of appropriate records and databases for education and development.

Maintain effective communication with all staff providing appropriate, timely support and advice on the CPD funding stream and competency.

Communicate with training providers and external providers to secure value for money including procurement and financial departments, to raise queries and request errors and inaccuracies be rectified.

Ensure that accurate records are maintained.

Self-manage your workload and meet required outcomes and deadlines, informing Line Manger/Senior Team member of any risks to achieving these.
