**Role**

To provide excellent administrative and organisational support and advice relating to delivery of communications and marketing within KMMS, with emphasis on organising events and mini interviews.

This role is to start as soon as possible

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Support the communications and marketing strategy for KMMS and the student recruitment and admissions process for undergraduate taught programme in accordance with KMMS procedures and strategies to ensure that KMMS recruits the best possible students
- Support the School’s presence at Open Days, Interview days/Applicant/Visit Days and other events, to ensure that the days are efficiently organised, present the School in its best possible light and that the day is rewarding for applicants, parents and other visitors
- Work with the Admissions Lead and the Recruitment and Events Officer to create and improve a programme of schools liaison visits and outreach activities.
- Liaise with current students for marketing purposes, working with other members of the professional services staff team where required, both to promote events and to gather information.
- Provide general administrative support for marketing, publicity and recruitment within the School, working closely with other members of the professional services staff team to support the School’s strategies.

**Skills and experience**
- A good general administrator, ideally with previous Kent or Christ Church experience
- Excellent attention to detail and proof reading skills
- Experience of meeting organisation and minute taking as needed
- Ability to cope well with a fast-paced environment and changing priorities
- Good communications skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to learn new digital programmes
- Events management experience essential
- Experience of using social media in a business context

Additional skills that would be useful
- Knowledge of collating and writing newsletters
- Basic graphic design skills

**Location**
University of Kent campus, CCCU campus and occasional remote working

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
