Working as a Personal Assistant to a 17 year old young lady in her family home. This will be on a Rota basis with the rest of the team.

Evenings 16.00-20.00

Weekends 9.00-17.00

Weekdays on a Rota basis

Flexible shifts, evenings only, weekends only or full time on Rota basis. DBS will be carried out. This is an employed job, via direct payments.

She has cerebral palsy, medication resistant epilepsy and learning difficulties and challenging behavior at time. She likes to be independent but needs assistance and support with everyday tasks such as dressing, washing, taking medication, making drinks etc, and monitoring for seizure activity. This would include assisting with personal care. This also will include supporting to, at and from college as a PA. Elyssa is 221 in the car and out in the community most of the time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated person to join a friendly and committed home care team. A truly rewarding role for someone who is able to communicate effectively and an ability to work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth and compassion.

She is outgoing, fun and loves lots of activities. She does use a manual chair in the community.

Her twin sister also has SEN and lives at home with us to.

It is an occupational requirement that Applicants must be female only to work with the client.
