We are seeking a passionate and driven Psychology Graduate to join a specialist SEND school in Bradford. This school specializes in providing education and support to students with severe and complex needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), speech and language impairments, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

As a Psychology Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have a unique opportunity to work in a highly specialized environment, providing invaluable support to students with severe and complex needs. **Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with severe and complex needs, including PMLD, speech and language impairments, and ASD.
- Support students in their academic activities, communication skills, and personal care needs.
- Implement specialized strategies and interventions to promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that caters to the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as required.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Psychology or a related field
- Genuine interest and passion for working with individuals with severe and complex needs, including PMLD, speech and language impairments, and ASD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to establish meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility and adaptability to the diverse challenges and requirements of working in a specialist SEND school.
