**School Caretaker - Chorley (PR7)**

Maxim FM are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual's with previous caretaking experience to join our team in Chorley, Preston (PR7).

Our company specialises in a wide range of facility management services and we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Caretaker to join our dynamic team.

This position is well suited to any individual that is looking to advance their career in the industry and wants to gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

**Duties**:

- Key holding.
- Opening up and Closing the school.
- External Gardening.
- Legionnaire Testing.
- Lighting and Alarm checks.
- Odd Jobs (basic handyman work only).
- Standard Cleaning.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Must be comfortable working alone and as a team.
- Fit to undertake all required work.
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
- An existing Enhance DBS would be highly desirable however, is not essential.

**Working times are as follows**:

- 6am - 9am & 2pm - 6pm (35 hours per week in total)
- 45 weeks per year.
- 4 weeks holiday per year.

The expected start date for this position is April. This position offers an hourly wage of £12.25
