As a Community Care Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the dignity, individuality, and privacy of all your clients in the community. You really will be making a difference to the lives of the people you care for.

**What we need from you as a Community Care Worker**:

- UK Full Driving License and own transport is required
- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Be self-motivated, well organised, flexible and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative and work well as part of a team
- Be caring and sensitive to the needs of the clients
- You will ideally live local to Coventry as you will be required to work in and around the Coventry and Nuneaton areas

**Please note**:
**What the role involves**:

- Providing care and support to the elderly in their own homes
- Provide care and support to clients who are terminally ill and temporarily sick
- All aspects of personal care - washing, dressing, toileting, hygiene continence care, use of personal aids and equipment
- Help in the promotion of mental and physical activities of clients through talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies, and recreation
- Light domestic duties and meal preparation
- Issuing medication (once training completed)
- Always offering emotional support to the clients
- Monitor and record service users’ health and wellbeing and report on any changes or concerns to management
- Encourage the independence of clients wherever possible
- Always adhere to the company’s policies and procedures

**Salary**:£10.42 per hour Monday to Friday, £10.60 per hour on weekends. **Working hours**:Full and part time driver runs available. **Shift patterns**: Shifts are flexible but mainly: 7.00am - 2.00pm and 4.00pm - 10.00pm. Alternative weekends are required.
