**The COMPANY**:
Our client is a very well-established, growing provider of Telecoms and IT support services.

**Job Purpose**:
Generate IT (information technology) sales and business, develop relationships with new clients, sales visits, and presentations, and maintain advanced knowledge of products and services

**Job Duties**:

- Prospect and contact potential customers through various means including business directories, targeted lists and referrals alongside attending networking events, trade shows and conferences.
- Create sales materials and customised presentations to present to prospective clients.
- Create and implement a full onboarding process for new customers and develop relationships with clients through contract negotiations and installations.
- Set up regular follow-up appointments to ensure customers are equipped with relevant post-sales information for their new products and services and to keep clients aware of the latest industry developments to generate new sales.
- Manage and record all sales activities including the preparation of monthly sales reports.
- Work alongside the team to support sales and contract renewals for existing customers.
- Provide feedback from customers to internal colleagues to help enhance our offerings and services.
- Work alongside the Marketing team to devise and promote sales campaigns to drive new business.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that both internal and external relationships are managed to the highest standard of professionalism.
- Continual education on new and existing products and services within the industry to maximise sales
- Becomes fluent in all products and services offered by the employer through testing, demonstrations, and research
- Answers questions, describes benefits and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
- Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
- Create marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales
- Works for technology manufacturers, software manufacturers, IT consultancies, and technology solutions organisations

**Skills needed**:

- At least 3 years experience of IT sales in a B2B environment.
- Experience of selling a range of IT products and services including but not limited to; IT support services, hardware, cloud infrastructure & back-up and cyber security products.
- Knowledge of Sales & Marketing principles and methods for promoting, demonstrating and selling products and services including; prospecting, negotiating & closing techniques and marketing strategies.
- Proven track record building and maintaining strong client relationships ideally within the IT industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge of IT
- Ability to manage own workload to meet deadlines in a busy environment with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) plus the willingness and ability to utilise new IT systems as required.
- Well presented, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
