Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Credit Controller - Settlements & Transactions.
The company:

- this corporate was established in the early 1990's and is the UK's No1 leading provider of its services to retail, travel & B2B sectors. They generate multi million £ revenues and boast a global customer base of over 40,000.
The Role:

- will report to the Transactions Service Manager. Duties will involve identifying discrepancies on the general ledger, investigate and implement clearing procedures to ensure transactions are closed off and completed in a timely and professional manner.Build strong business relationships with internal corporate clients and external customers ensuring all transactions are reconciled and queries are promptly investigated and documented with analysis on any aged items. Month-end reconciliations, support thedelivery of new projects where new reconciliations processes are required. Highlight and communicate any escalation of incidents or issues that impact settlement and reconciliation activities.
The person:

- A strong understanding of debits and credits is required and how multiple product sales in a corporate environment are balanced and reconciled. Pro-actively initiate investigations and evidence of appropriate prioritisation and issue resolution.
Perhaps from a high volume reconciliation or credit control background, confident, numerical, with an eye for detail and good analysis and investigative skills.
Enjoys problem solving, identifying issues and implementing solutions. IT skills (Excel Access, Dynamics useful) - Hybrid working.
