**Role Profile - Vehicle Parts Buying Administrator**

**Purpose**:
**Location: Poole**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Analyse cars on auction websites to identify potential purchase opportunities for Charles Trent.
- Develop understanding of factors contributing to a car's desirability for Trent.
- Evaluate the quality of parts on collision vehicles.
- Develop key decision-making skills to distinguish between damaged and salvageable parts.
- Conduct swift evaluation on vehicles by accounting the salvageable parts and their interchange numbers to facilitate automatic valuation processes.
- Be a champion of performance metrics, ensuring daily targets of cars priced, quality and profitability are met.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the automotive industry about car brands, their parts and technology involved.
- Coordinating & working together with the salvage procurement team.
- Helping the Innovation & Tech team with ideas for process improvement.

**Experience & Essential Qualities**:

- Attention to Detail, Curious and always ask Why.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge about different type of cars manufacturer, model, and model variants.
- Good with computers and looking up data/details in the web.
- Knowledge about Hollander Interchanges and how to identify them in a car is a plus.
- Self-motivated, self-driven, goal oriented & far-sighted individual with a curious mind.
- Always on the lookout for what's next.
- Proactively engage & work with different teams across the organization to find ways to improve current processes.

**Remuneration**:
**Salary**: From £22,500

**Working Hours**: 37.5hrs pwk

**Working Pattern**: Monday to Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
