This is a key role within the Supply Chain function. This person will assist the Logistics Manager with all elements of the Goods Inward, Main Stores, Despatch and Core/Yard functions. Helping to check, process & transact incoming and outgoing goods in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, and within the agreed timeframes of company KPI’s.

They will liaise with Quality, Purchasing, Production and Line-side Stores staff to ensure that work is prioritised and processed in the optimum manner to suit the needs of Production Lines and in the case of finished goods, to ensure customer delivery dates are met.

They will assist the Logistics team in implementing improvements to storage arrangements and working practices, highlighting problems and offering ideas & solutions.
- A well rounded people-person with naturally high expectations of themselves and colleagues.
- A desire to improve things and to provide a good service to internal colleagues and external customers..
- An approachable person who acts with integrity and remains professional at all times.
- Level headed under pressure with the ability to maintain good judgement and be decisive.

- A willingness to work flexible hours in line with logistics/production requirements.
- Able to communicate efficiently with all levels of internal colleagues and external customers.
- Numerate with a high degree of computer literacy.
- Experience of working within a logistics environment.
- Working outside.
- Fork lift licence essential.
- Driving licence essential.
- Working in a team and alone.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
