Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics functions within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, including internal transportation and the introduction of Kanban systems.
  • Utilize ERP systems to enhance efficiencies, incorporating barcode technology and stock control.
  • Manage warehouse space effectively and ensure the appropriate use of material handling equipment.
  • Coach, train, and supervise warehouse teams to ensure top performance.
  • Monitor and improve delivery times, transport costs, and overall logistics efficiency.
  • Maintain driver quality standards and a low no-show rate.
  • Analyse data, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to influence procurement strategies.

Requirements:

  • A strategic thinker with a proven track record in logistics or supply chain management at a senior level.
  • Experience with ERP systems, barcode technology, and warehouse optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • A resilient problem-solver who is proactive and logical in their approach.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coach, manage, and inspire teams.
  • Someone who thrives on improvement, embraces change, and maintains a professional, level-headed demeanor under pressure.
