We have a great opportunity for a motivated and proactive **Customer & Warehouse Assistant **to join our friendly team at **JPS Bournville**

**Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS)** is a brand within Stark UK which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector predominately Housing Associations and Local Authorities. We operate a fantastic supply solution with **Bournville Village Trust** in the West Midlands which incorporates a dedicated stand alone hub located in Bournville and a solution to provide a wide range of building maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery.

**Location**:71A Willow Road Bournville, Birmingham, B30 2AT

**Working Hours**: Monday-Friday 7:00am-16:30pm with an earlier finish on a Friday. (Full time and permanent role)

**Please note: a full, clean, manual driving license is a requirement of this role**

As this role supports the local housing association it would be advantageous to have a strong knowledge of building materials, this could be from a roofing / plumbing / builder’s / trade merchant / DIY outlet background.

- **So, what will you be doing?**_

Sharing a site with our customer (BVT) in Bournville, the focus of this role is to support the team with stock management, yard and warehouse standards, delivery of products to the customer and overall providing an excellent service to our client and their tradespeople. Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Help to pick and pack customer orders in the warehouse/yard
- Load/unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
- Be available to deliver materials to our customers using a 3.5t van
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
- Use our systems to process and update customer orders at the trade counter
- Maintain stock levels in the warehouse, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
