**Main Purpose**:To support the HR, Learning & Development and Health & Safety team to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to and embedded across company values.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Administration of all HR & Training processes.
- Ensure prompt and accurate update of employee data in HR & Training System.
- Maintain efficient and readily accessible filing systems.
- Coordinate the start to end process for all new starters, leavers, and transfers, including but not limited to offer letters and contracts, background screening via a third party, right to work checks, induction schedules, payroll documentation, relevant transfer documentation, acceptance of resignations, exit interviews and employment references, liaising with other relevant departments (e.g. accounts and production) to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding.
- Collate employee absence data and identify areas of concern.
- Support the finance department to deliver payroll submission
- Manage training database, source, and arrange courses to maintain legal compliance
- Assisting the Health & Safety Team members
- Assist with Ad Hoc administrative duties across the business

**Essential Qualifications and Skills**:

- Must have the willingness and ability to learn new computer systems quickly
- Strong IT technical skills & strong MS Office skills
- Experience of using HR & Training systems
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards
- Excellent organisation skills with ability to balance conflicting short-term demands and longer-term priorities
- Agile and proactive approach, with the ability to multitask and a personal desire to grow and work within HR
- Excellent team player and prepared to go the extra mile
- Proficient use of Excel required
- Ability to produce documents to a high presentational level
- High degree of professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion and adherence to confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**
- Administration experience either in HR/Training /Business
- NVQ Level 3 Business Administration

**Salary**: £9.68-£12.66 per hour
