As a team we are committed to the highest standards of technical expertise and client service. We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our expanding consultancy team. This is an essential role for our funded programmes as it will maintain all regulatory compliance with public funds and ensure budgets are managed effectively.

**About the Role**

**Key Requirements**
- Research regulatory requirements pertinent to the project and enforced by IUK and other Regulatory Agencies
- Checking the beneficial owner of the beneficiaries in line with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
- Performing the financial checks to confirm eligibility of beneficiaries.
- Client engagement and collation of the supporting documentation to evidence grant payments requests.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the project managers as required.
- Collate and prepare quarterly claims by using the approved costs methodologies.
- Maintain the conflict-of-interest register.
- Take part in client meetings as and when required.

**Skills / Experience**
- 3+ years of relevant experience in financial project administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Adherence to strict confidentiality standards
- Skill in multitasking and effective prioritisation
- Confidence to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
