Chertsey, United Kingdom Merlin Entertainments - Corporate Full time

Roles & Responsibilities:
**Applications close: Tuesday 5th March 12:00**

We are seeking a dynamic **Engineering Academy Coordinator** to join our team and play a pivotal role in the success of our Engineering Academy programs. This is a permanent position, working on a hybrid basis based at our Technical Hub in Thorpe Park. Some travel to our sites and attractions will be required.

Working closely with the Head of Engineering Academy and the Apprenticeship Advisor, you will be the go-to person for all Engineering Academy queries, ensuring seamless operations and promoting a culture of continuous learning. You will collaborate with technical teams to roll out and scale our curriculum, acting as a steward for Engineering Academy programs. Your role includes promoting, managing, and facilitating an annual learning and development program for technical colleagues across the UK. Your attention to detail will shine as you meticulously track program data, movements, and evaluations, always seeking ways to enhance processes.

You'll contribute to the creation and shaping of learning resources, collaborating with third-party training providers when necessary. Additionally, you'll manage partnerships with these providers to ensure quality and consistent learning experiences. In line with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, you will promote career opportunities within Technical Services and ensure the Academy aligns with Merlin’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

Efficiency is key in managing your workload, updating your line manager on progress and priorities, and employing lean processes to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Your administrative prowess will extend to managing the Engineering Academy booking platform, ensuring the effective retention of all training records, and managing a central inbox.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Passionate about engineering and developing the next generation of great engineers and technicians in Merlin.
- Great organisational skills, bringing structure, process and logical thinking to the task at hand.
- Critical thinker who’s unafraid to think differently, fail forward, and work together as a team to build the future.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous, often fast changing environment, with persons from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at any one time.
- Excellent communicator, to internal and external stakeholders, at all levels; able to energise and motivate relevant audience groups.

**Benefits**:
We’re growing fast and alongside a fun and friendly environment, we offer a fabulous package and amazing prospects - ideal if you’re already fantastic and want to become even better (our magic can help here). Benefits include Pension, Life Assurance, discretionary company bonus, 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays, and, of course, a Merlin Magic Pass which gives you and your friends and family free admission to all of our attractions worldwide, as well as 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants and 40% discount on LEGO.
