**Production Shift Leader**

Due to growing demand we have recently opened our first UK factory situated on Knowsley Industrial Estate. We are currently in search of a Production Shift Leader to join our team. This is a permanent role and will report to the Production Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
- Assign duties to staff
- Train new employees
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a Production Shift Leader or relevant managerial role in the manufacturing sector (at least 3 years)
- Injection moulding experience
- Knowledge of mechanics and electricity
- Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
- Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
- Manage resource, people and conflicts
- Managing return to works, reviews, holiday requests
- Strong problem-solving attitude
- Experience of using Microsoft word, excel, outlook and JDE (desirable)
- First aid and fire trained (desirable)

Working hours will be completed on a shift pattern of 6am-2pm Monday to Saturday (earlies), 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday (lates) and 10pm - 6am Monday to Friday (nights)

**Salary**: £35K + 20% shift allowance on early/late shifts and + 33% shift allowance on night shifts.
