Allianz Trade for Multinationals is looking for a XoL Underwriter to join its team based in London.

As a XoL Underwriter, your role is to develop XoL new business and service existing XoL clients whilst maintaining sound Commercial and Risk underwriting standards, and contribute to the development of the XoL product within the NEUR region.

**Main tasks**:

- **New business**:

- develop good relationships with brokers and NEUR Sales Force to generate new business enquiries
- Underwriting and pricing of new business enquiries using the XoL pricing model as well as market knowledge
- Credit Limit underwriting for prechecks
**- Account Management**:

- Servicing and renewal of existing portfolio of policies: regular meetings with insured, brokers and co-insurers;
- Drafting wordings and endorsement
- Credit limits underwriting
- Structuring and pricing of renewal terms
- Monitoring of overdue reports
**- Risk Underwriting**:

- Deciding on credit limit requests promptly and consistently:

- Using information available in IRP and market knowledge
- monitoring risk exposure, trade sector evolution and action plans
- requesting further information from Risk office
**- Working with internal stakeholders with a view to provide the best service to XoL clients and prospects**:

- Writing credit limit recommenations to be submitted to the Regional Risk Director
- Writing new business and renew terms recommendations to GMMCD
- Liaising with local risk offices for risks to be regraded / recommendations to be obtained.

**Future Challenges / Complexity Required**:

- Ability to balance commercial interests and strict standards regarding quality of portfolio when structuring terms, price, conditions and credit limits underwriting;
- Ability to justify decisions both internally and externally;
- Ability to understand and underwrite complex structures;
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, brokers and internal stakeholders.

- ability to hold visits and contacts, including difficult meetings with senior stakeholders;
- **Languages**:
Fluent English
