**What is the role?**
As a Junior Information Assurance Consultant, you will be required to provide hands-on Information Assurance (IA) consultancy services across a range of requirements such as Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and would be reporting to the Information Assurance Capability Lead.
Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the growth of PGI’s domestic information assurance consultancy business in line with internationally recognised standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and NCSC.
- Conduct consultancy work, including supporting PGI’s Data Protection (GDPR), Cyber Maturity, and PCI DSS consultancy work.
- Contribute towards the maintenance of PGI’s own accreditations, including its ISO accreditations.
- Sustaining your own consultancy credentials through the maintenance of appropriate certifications and keeping up to date with security industry trends and best practices.
**What we’re looking for?**
- Demonstrable experience in an Information Assurance position.
- An ISO certification such as ISO27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to present to clients to a high standard.
- Experience in/knowledge of the PCI DSS standard.
- Ability to work to deadlines in challenging environments, maintaining a positive approach to problem-solving and possessing effective time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality deliverables.
