The Locality Lead role is a key service leader role within Stockport Family and Stockport Foundation Trust,

Leadership of the Health Child Programme service, Start Well and Early Help Services.

To provide leadership and management of Stockport Family teams ensuring that an integrated approach delivers improved outcomes for children, young people and families in order to improve participation, family functioning and resilience.

To lead and manage integrated services working in the designated Locality as part of the Stockport Family Service including health visitors; Stockport Family Workers - Early Years; Stockport Family Workers School Age; Start Well Hubs and satellites.

Main

**Responsibilities**:
To provide leadership and management of Stockport Family ensuring that an integrated approach delivers improved outcomes for children, young people and families in order to improve participation, family functioning and resilience.

To model and promote a restorative approach to service delivery.

To be part of the senior management team leading the development and integration of services.

To lead and manage integrated services working in the designated locality as part of the Stockport Family Service which may including health visitors; Stockport Family Workers - Early Years, Start Well coordinators Stockport Family Workers School Age; Start Well hubs and satellites.

To have oversight and strategic responsibility for Start Well Children’s Centre standards, policies, performance and readiness for Ofsted inspection, as appropriate to the designated Locality, and working closely with the other Locality Leads.

To provide professional leadership and clinical supervision to health visiting services across the localities (as appropriate to the designated locality, and working closely with the other Locality Leads

To provide leadership and direction for the implementation and integration of the Healthy Child programme.

To provide professional guidance on the implementation of evidence based public health interventions across the localities.

To actively promote opportunities for further developing the Stockport Family integrated service vision.

To be responsible for delivering high quality, evidence based early intervention and statutory services to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

To ensure that all statutory requirements are met, as appropriate to the locality responsibilities.

To deputise for the Principal Lead as appropriate.

To develop and maintain a culture that places improved outcomes for children and families at the heart of the service.

Sound financial management which achieve improvements in value for money; continual efficiency and governance and workforce management.

To work collaboratively and creatively with early years setting, schools, colleges, GPs and other relevant health professionals, other Local Authorities, other agencies, the voluntary sector and other groups to design, implement and coordinate interventions for vulnerable children and young people.

The post holder will offer leadership, challenge, inspiration and guidance to the managers and teams who will support him/her in continuously improving services, maximising productivity and ensuring the services meet the needs of children, young people and families within the resources provided.
