Hours of Work: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.12 per hour
Overview of a Legal Practice Management Administrator
HB Public Law is a shared service between several Northwest London boroughs and home countries local authorities. The assignment as a Legal Practice Management Administrator is working for Pertemps at Harrow Council but also working for a few other public sector clients.
HB Public Law sits within the Legal & Governance Services Department of Harrow Council with Democratic & Electoral Services, Mayoralty Support, the Political Group offices, and Registration Services.
The Legal Practice Management Administrator will be required to support HB Public Law by carrying out legal work and developing, implementing, and supporting innovative practice management processes.

**Specifically, the role will include**:

- To assist with allocation and record keeping in respect of resources for the Practice including items such as IT equipment and the law library content.- To ensure that the Practice delivers a seamless legal service, liaising with colleagues, clients, and external parties.- To assist with agile and paper lite working practices are fully implemented and supported.- To provide administrative support in the implementation and monitoring of effective risk management, business continuity, information management and disaster recovery strategies for the Practice.- When required to carry out work for, and under the control of, HB Public Law Limited, the Alternative Business Structure which has been established by Harrow Council to deliver legal services to certain third-party organisations.- To undertake any other work to support the delivery of efficient and seamless legal services.- To maintain the legal case management system and act as a superuser to assist other staff.About you, the successful Legal Practice Management Administrator will have:

- Experience of working in a support team or customer focused environment.- Experience of demonstrating initiative and initiating improvements, identifying potential issues, and suggesting solutions.- IT literate to be able to operate and maximise the potential of case management and other IT systems.- Knowledge of working in a customer-focussed environment and the principles of providing excellent customer services.- Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems/databases in relation to providing accurate data in accordance with specified reporting requirements.- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.If you have the necessary skills and experience for this role please click ‘apply’
