Regional Head of Nurseries - England

We are looking for a regional/ area manager to help oversee our beautiful settings at CC Nurseries. To over see our settings in **Twickenham, Brentford, High Barnet, Aylesbury and Marston Moretaine.**

**Overall Purpose**

To lead and support your region and thereby your nursery teams in having better oversight, direction, and performance for each location. Strive to deliver/achieve outstanding ratings not only for every one of your settings, but also in line with your performance indicators. Collaborate fully and effectively with the key central support teams that support the nurseries in achieving their key goals/experiences. Have a meaningful impact on the engagement and contribution of your teams and create significant CC Nurseries awareness within their markets and beyond. Ensure that your region can achieve and exceed your experiential and financial/commercial expectations. You should do all this whilst being the embodiment of the beliefs that CC Nurseries, and the teams hold dear.

Provide strategic leadership ensuring the provision of a sustained high quality and commercially successful operational service exists and is maintained across the region of Nurseries under your designated responsibilities by driving the highest possible cost-effective standards of early years learning quality and care through effective team deliverable outcomes, collaboratively utilising the numerous different support channels that feed into the same.

**Recruitment**
- Identify best talent within the childcare market.
- Support Nursery Managers in talent attraction and hiring.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team on current and future activity and impact of current team performance.
- Coordinate with nursery management on achieving expected/anticipated occupancy levels.

**Learning and Development**
- To ensure that all Nursery Management Teams are strong enough to run a successful nursery.
- To support Nursery Managers with providing training and development within the nursery
- To hold regular meetings with Nursery Managers and teams and attend regular operations meetings.
- Complete regular reviews and one to ones with Nursery Management
- To identify weaknesses and concerns with Nursery Management Teams including the Deputy Manager and to report concerns to the COO.
- Liaise with HR regarding team performance procedures.
- Coordinate New Nursery Managers training and review it at the end of probationary period.
- Support Nursery Managers with succession planning at Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager level and develop outstanding performers into more senior positions.

- Ensure all environments in their nurseries provide the highest standard of learning and development for their children.

**The Parent's Experience**
- Develop and nurture great parental relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing on specific events.
- Ensure the appropriate response when complaints arise.
- Highlight trends in complaints and feedback.

**The Company's Experience**
- To lead nursery managers in successfully operating their nurseries to achieve our operational goals.
- To oversee and manage the full commercial performance of your allocated group of nurseries.
- To drive forward performance against our key performance indicators - occupancy, EBITDA, OFSTED outcomes, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and staff retention.
- To ensure robust management of the P&L accounts of your nurseries, supporting managers in identifying efficient ways working, effective forward planning and robust reactive actions where issues arise.
- To identify, investigate and recover areas of under-performance.
- To lead, co-lead or contribute to companywide projects, developments, and initiatives.
- To ensure all our policies, procedures and regulatory obligations are always upheld.
