**TEXO Engineering and Fabrication **have an **URGENT** requirement for a **Fabrication Estimator **to join the existing team due to an increase in enquiries and contract awards.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The role of the **Fabrication Estimator** is to estimate and manage fabrication projects including commercial, technical and scheduling activities whilst acting as a focal point for clients.

**Area(s) of Responsibility**:

- Responsible for Health, Safety and Environment across all operations complying with best practice, company procedures, risk assessments and legal requirements
- Promote a proactive commitment to TEXO improvement initiatives
- **Fabrication estimating** and **preparing quotes** based on the enquiry received to deadlines
- Sourcing and ordering materials and services necessary for completion of projects ensuring customer specifications and requirements are detailed and correct certification is requested
- Arranging & holding Kick off Meetings (KOM) with all key and relevant personnel involved
- Holding & attending any necessary Management, Project and Client meetings with relevant personnel when required
- Management of Project Budget, Project Reporting and Project Schedule
- Cultivating and developing customer and supplier business relationships
- Ensuring all contract requirements and client expectations have been fully understood through Contract Review process
- Preparing and distributing Job Card documentation to production team
- Liaising with cost control team to ensure information is current to facilitate accurate decision making
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, within specification and within budget ensuring that variation management is completed in a timely manner
- On occasion you may be requested to perform other tasks and work additional hours in abnormal situations to ensure customer requirements achieved
- Mentoring, coaching and providing experience to the junior members of **TEXO Engineering & Fabrication**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £35,000.00 per year
