At Bracher Brothers Funeral Directors, we serve families with the greatest care, from our funeral directors in Dorset. Our friendly team of funeral directors is available to ease your concerns and take care of all the funeral arrangements. By sitting down with you and talking through your needs, we will establish what type of funeral you want for your loved one and let you know how we can achieve this.

Bracher Brothers Funeral Directors are looking for a compassionate, dedicated individual to join our team as a Funeral Service Arranger, to advise and support our families when arranging the funeral for a loved one.

What Will I Be Doing as a Funeral Service Arranger?

As a Funeral Service Arranger, you will be one of the very first points of contact for our families. You are going to be the coordinator that supports our families, arranges the funerals and works alongside our teams to ensure that the funerals are delivered at the highest standard, whilst also meeting the personable requests of the families.

**Please be advised that this post will require you to assist our on-call rota at night and on the weekend. At present, the on-call pattern is 1 week in every 4 where the on call starts from 16.30 Friday afternoon - 09.00 the following Friday Morning. **

Other duties will include:
Create a welcoming, safe and caring atmosphere
Arrange funerals according to Company guidelines ensuring that the full range of services and products are offered, thereby addressing the needs of the client
Maintain excellent service to client’s who telephone, visit the branch or where home visits are made.
Be available for clients to visit the deceased (chapel of rest visits) during office hours and out of hours by arrangement to company standards and guidelines.
Cover on Call duties to provide and support with collection of the deceased (bringing the deceased into our care).

What Do I Need?

A Full UK Driving Licence.
Previous experience within a Customer Service or Administrative position.
Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Comfortable with heavy lifting duties which forms part of the job role.
Comfortable coming into contact with the deceased through collections made and the Chapel of Rest visits.
Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.
Excellent attention to detail is essential.
A passion for customer service.

Advantageous:
Previous experience in the industry, though this is not required, as full training will be provided.
